Gauge I engine BR 24

This is the accomodation train engine BR 24 gauge 1:32 alcohol fired
fitting the well-known Märklin MAXI models.
Runtime is about five to ten minutes between refilling the alcohol tank, about 30 minutes all together.
It's built in a "tin plate" style, made of steel sheet, steel profiles and brass profiles.
The boiler with a special kind of firebox is made of copper. It contains about 300 ml water.
The design is very simple and these engines can be built by beginners in live steaming with only little experience.
You can download the drawings of the locos as "zipped" DXF-files here (about 600 kB):

You can get drawings on paper, if you prefer so.

The main components of the locos are the boiler and the truck

For all the different locos nearly all parts are built in the same style, only different sizes
